  12. To install fonts, run the font installer. It will automatically select
  13. the right set of fonts for your machine (RISC OS2 or RISC OS3) and display
  14. a full list in the left hand part of the !FontInst window.

  16. If you wish to install RiscOS2 fonts on a RiscOS3 machine then you
  17. need to double click the !RiscOS2 directory, the RISC OS 2 fonts will then
  18. be listed as well as the RISC OS 3 ones.

  20. These applications are NOT Acorn font directories and will not install any
  21. fonts.

  23. To use the fonts directly from the CDROM, refer to _INFO in the ReadyToUse
  24. directory.

  26. The RISCOS3 font set are of a higher quality, include full accented character
  27. sets and many include kerning information meaning that when they are used
  28. in an application supporting automatic kerning the letters will be spaced
  29. more correctly.
